I recently went to a 2 day Seminar here in the UK and fair to say the room was jam packed, with like minded people…
People who were looking to start their own online journeys who have never done anything like this before, people who were already on their journey and some who were already enjoying MASSIVE success online.
Now, one of the main questions that were asked in a morning sessions was:
“What is stopping you?“.
From the picture that I took (on the left) you can see just some of the reasons that were given as to why people may be afraid of taking that leap of faith
The mind, or more accurately the sub conscious works against us!
You see, without actually realising our own minds work against us and are basically doing their best to try to sabotage us.
Why? You may ask.
In a nutshell, we have all been conditioned within our minds over time – even if we do not realise it or even like to admit it!
We are taught from an early age to knuckle down and to work hard, get a good education (even get a degree), and then get a job.
Then, it’s almost like the cycle starts again…
Having got a job we are told to work hard, aim to work up the ladder and get promotions which tend to bring on an increased work load. And then, yes, you’ve guessed it work hard at it, and so on…it really does seem to be bit of a vicious cycle when you think about it doesn’t it?
Because we are conditioned to think in this way in life, when we tend to look away from the norm and outside of the bubble, the sub conscious kicks in to overdrive and tries to keep us on that all too familiar path that we have known – the supposed safe option, get yourself a job.
Is there really such a thing in current times as a safe option?
From everything I have been reading and seeing lately (and over the past few years) from wandering down the high streets it is clear to see that the safe option may not be so safe after all.
The job for life era is most definitely a thing of the past!
A job for life does not tend to exist, UNLESS you are qualified in a profession – but even then there are no guarantees that you will be in lifetime employment.
I read a crazy stat the 3.6 Million people here in the UK, who have a bachelor’s degree are currently living in poverty! Now that is scary…
After spending not only your time, dedicating yourself to studies within your chosen field, putting yourself into massive debt at the start of your life to cover all the fee’s etc, you then come out after it and find yourself in debt, and in poverty!
What is stopping you?
There may be a whole host of reasons why you think you can’t do something, and when we try and stray from the conditioned norm we inadvertly panic all due to that rather annoying sub conscious.
What if I were to also tell you that over the next decade alone, 200 million people will enter the network marketing industry.
Do you think all of these people know what they are doing, or how they will succeed?
More than likely a huge percentage of these people won’t have a clue what to do when they get started, where to go or even how to do it. But they are looking for a better life, a better way of living and if other people are already doing it, why can’t they?
Fortune doesn’t always favour the brave, but success does tend favour Action Taker’s!
There will be people out there reading this thinking, “oh no, I can’t do that”.
But if you were given all the tools, the education, and that “how to” knowledge, don’t you think that you could also succeed just as others have before you?
And don’t you think if you were shown a way of implementing real strategies into businesses that this could even help you succeed as well?
It does ultimately come down to mindet…
To me, the word “can’t” should actually should be redefined as “I can’t do it yet”.
And as the spine of that word suggests, you “CAN” do anything you truly set your mind to.
So, finally…
